about me
I am one of two founders at Dooplin, a bootstrapped software company registered in Barcelona. My half of it is product and engineering: designs, plans, and builds the products — the architecture, the code, and the decisions about what each tool is allowed to do with your data.
A promise lasts until the incentives change; a system that never had your browsing history cannot be persuaded, subpoenaed, or breached into handing it over.
how I work
The cheapest record to protect is the one you never kept. I would rather ship a feature that cannot answer a question than a database that can. Where a thing can run on someone's own device, it runs there.

After Pathao confirmed that attackers took users' names, email addresses and phone numbers, we asked how well five of Bangladesh's most used apps — bKash, Nagad, Pathao, Uber and Daraz — can keep your data out of the wrong hands. Of 25 ratings, one is strong, seven are adequate, fifteen are weak and two are poor.
